CLOTHES FOR REFUGEE CHILDREN

On 4 November, current, in the AVE Children headquarters, were distributed winter clothes and shoes for all the children who attend kindergarten and schools from the families of asylum seekers, beneficiaries of human protection and refugees.

Mrs. Veronica Dragan, the social worker within the organization, said that these humanitarian aids are offered thanked to the support of the UNHCR Representative in Moldova, and are distributed at the beginning of the cold season. This year, of this aids have benefited 26 children from 17 families. “We take care to find out the high and foot size of every child from the families of asylum seekers, beneficiaries of humanitarian protection and refugees, to not fail with the size of the clothes and shoes.” – added Mrs. Dragan.

Children along with their parents enjoyed and remained satisfied of the help offered.  

Mrs. Yandiev, refugee, mother of four children, enjoyed very much the help. “Now, in the eve of winter, it’s a great help for us. I am raising four children and I know that they are very pleased with these clothes” – said Mrs. Yandiev

Of AVE Children NGOs activity, one of the implementation partners of the projects funded by UNHCR Representative in Moldova beneficiate both, children and adults. They have access to the specialized medical services, hospitalization and investigations; medicines, hygienically products for women and girls, immunization including vaccination. These activities assure the health of this people, for their integration into the local community are organized trips, shows, concerts etc.
