A refugee family of 12 people – grandparents, children, grandchildren

On 6 October, this year, teams from the Charity Center for Refugees (CCR), in collaboration with the Society for Refugees (SR), implementing partners of UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), organized a visit of information at the Theoretical Lyceum “Puşkin” in Cimişlia. The purpose of the visit was to inform students and teachers on asylum field and refugees situation in R. Moldova, especially because in this high school continue their studies some of the children of the big family of refugees from Kirgizstan.
It’s about the Satybaldyev family consisting of 12 people – grandparents, children and grandchildren, all set to live in Cimişlia three months ago.

In the high school was also inaugurated a photo exhibition and multiple works made by the refugee children in the creation Class of painting and ceramics led by Valerie Belogruda.
In the inaugural speech Mrs.Alexandra Slănină, the high school principle said that such visits have been and remain beautiful surprises for students here and showed that they are open for collaboration with the NGOs and UNHCHR.

Mr. Ulukbek Satybaldyev, the head of the numerous family thanked to all who support them to integrate into the local society, to school administration and especially their children new colleagues for the warmth and understanding. We feel good here in Cimislia and we hope that people living here will enjoy our visit, because we are trying to do this every day through our behavior and deeds – Satybaldyev said.

Surprisingly, both for guests, and for teachers was the interest of children on asylum field demonstrated through their knowledge and especially through the questions addressed to the representatives of the NGOs.
In gratitude for the warm welcome Mr. Djavid Paknehad, President of CCR gave to the children 3 balls – football, volleyball, basketball – and a chess set, coming with the proposal to hold in future sport competitions between refugee children and high school students.

At the end of the meeting, truly memorable, and that due to the activism of the students, everybody served the food brought by the guests.

During the visit were presented speeches and answered the questions Ms.Svetlana Jioară, UNHCR project assistant and Dumitru Maxim, SR President, lecturer.
