UNIVERSITATEA DE STAT "B.P.HAŞDEU" DE LA CAHUL A GĂZDUIT EXPOZIŢIA FOTO ITINERANTĂ "MI-AŞ DORI..." (rom. eng.)

Pe data de 1 iunie curent, în incinta Universităţii de Stat „Bogdan Petriceicu Haşdeu” din Cahul a fost inaugurată expoziţia foto-itinerantă ”Mi-aş dori…” – autor Petrus Wijninga, ex-Reprezentant al Înaltului Comisariat al ONU pentru Refugiaţi (ICNUR) în Moldova.

Prezenţi la această manifestaţie, studenţii şi cadrele didactice ale Universităţii au aflat lucruri noi despre viaţa refuţiaţilor şi a solicitanţilor de azil ajunşi în R.Moldova ca o ultimă speranţă de a se salva de persecuţiile la care erau supuşi în ţările de origine.

În discursul inaugural, dl Vitalie Poomariov, şef secţie Integrare Europeană şi Mobilitate Academincă, a evidenţiat importanţa extinderii colaborării Universităţii cu structurile internaţionale şi naţionale de diferit profil, în vederea promovării valorilor europene şi crearea atît pentru cadrele didactice, cît şi pentru studenţii de la cele trei facultăţi - Filologie şi Istorie; Economie, Informatică şi Matematică; şi  Drept şi Administrare Publică – a noi posibilităţi de implicare în proiecte şi activităţi extracuriculare.

Dna Svetlana Jioară, asociat programe ICNUR, a prezentant în faţa studenţilor un comunicat privind istoricul Reprezentanţei ICNUR în Moldova, proiectele aflate în derulare beneficiari ai cărora sunt nu doar refugiaţii şi solicitanţii de azil, ci şi unele structuri guvernamentale. Vă mulţumim pentru faptul că aţi acceptat propunerea noastră de a găzdui expoziţia dlui Wijninga şi sper ca aceste feţe, surprinse de aparatul de fotografiat, să vă transmită nu doar nevoile refugiaţilor, ci şi căldura pe care o împart în fiecare zi cu toţi cei care îi înconjoară – a menţionat Jioară. 

O scurtă lecţie privind fenomenul azilului în lume şi specificul acestuia în R.Moldova a ţinut dl Dumitru Maxim, Preşedintele Societăţii pentru Refugiaţi, lector-superior ULIM. Studenţii prezenţi la deschiderea expoziţiei au înţeles care sunt diferenţele între refugiaţi, solicitanţi de azil şi persoane întern strămutate, pe de o parte, şi migranţii, pe de altă parte; au aflat care sunt organizaţiile guvernamentale preocupate de problemele acestor categorii de persoane şi organizaţiile non-guvernamentale implicate direct în soluţionarea problemelor cu care se confruntă aceştia. Totodată Maxim i-a îndemnat pe studenţi să studieze domeniul în cauză pentru că, în ultimii ani ICNUR organizează o Tabără de Vară la una din cele mai prestigioase Baze de odinhă, din zona de agrement Vadul lui Vodă, pentru cei mai buni cunoscători ai domeniului dat – studenţi de la facultăţile de drept, jurnalism şi asistenţă socială de la trei instituţii de învăţămînt superior din Chişinău; şi dacă Dvs. veţi persevera în acest domeniu, cu siguranţă, în viitorul apropiat, veti face parte din această echipă.

Cele 20 de fotografii care formează expoziţia, urmează a fi vernisate, pe întrg parcusrul anului curent, şi în alte instituţii de învăţămînt şi localuri administrative ori social-culturale din Moldova.

Deschiderea expoziţiei a fost precedată de o întîlnire a administraţiei instituţiei academice moderată de Rectorul Universităţii dl Andrei Popa, dr. hab., cu dna Svetlana Jioară, asociat programe ICNUR, în cadrul căreia s-a stabilit intenţia de colaborare şi dezvoltare a relaţiilor de parteneriat cu Reprezentanţa ICNUR în Moldova. Între altele dl Popa a menţionat că administraţia Universităţii este deschisă pentru o colaborare bine planificată cu respectarea strictă a angajamentelor asumate de părţi: aveţi tot sprijinul şi în ceea ce priveşte intenţia ICNUR de a organiza lecţiile publice, doar că, odată cu începerea noului an de studii, urmează să stabilim disciplinele concrete din domeniul umanitar, orarul şi durata acestora, astfel ca studenţii să fie interesaţi de tematica pusă în discuţie şi să se implice nemijlocit în conoaşterea domeniului azilui ca o disciplină extra-curiculară – a menţionat A.Popa.  

La întîlnire au mai participat domnii: Vitalie PONOMARIOV, şef secţie Integrare Europeană şi Mobilitate Academincă, Coordonator Centrul de Informare al Uniunii Europene; Sergiu Cornea, vice-rector Activitate Ştiinţifică şi Relaţii Internaţionale; Oleg Danilciac, vice-rector Activităţi extra-curiculare; Igor Şevcenco, Decanul Facultăţii Drept şi Administrare Publică şi Victor Axenti, Decanul Facultăţii Filologie şi Istorie.

State University „B. P. Haşdeu” from Cahul hosted photo exhibiton called "I wish..."

 On June 1, within the State University „Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu” in Cahul the traveling photo exhibition " I wish ... " was inaugurated – autor Petrus Wijninga, former Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Moldova.

The students and teachers that were present at the rally have learned new things about the life of refugees and asylum seekers that came to Moldova as a last hope to save themselves from persecution to which they were subjected in their home countries.

In his inaugural address, Mr. Vitalie Poomariov, Head Department of European Integration and Academinc Mobility, highlighted the importance of extending University cooperation with international and national structures, in order to promote European values ​and create for both teachers and for students from the three faculties - Philology and History; Economics, Computer Science and Mathematics, and Law and Public Administration - new opportunities for involvement in projects and extracurricular activities.

Ms. Svetlana Jioară UNHCR associated programs, presented a statement to students on the history of the UNHCR Representation in Moldova, on the ongoing projects the beneficiaries of which are not only refugees and asylum seekers, but also some government structures. „Thank you for accepting our proposal to host Mr Wijninga's exhibition and I hope that these faces, captured by the camera will show you not only the needs of refugees but also the warmth that they share every day with all those around them - Jioară said.

Dumitru Maxim, President of the Society for Refugees, lecturer at the ULIM University held a short lesson on the phenomenon of asylum in the world and its specificity in Moldova. The students attending the opening of the exhibition understood what are the differences between refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced persons, on one hand, and migrants, on the other hand. They found out about the government organizations that are concerned with the problems these individuals and non-governmental organizations directly involved in solving the problems these people face. Mr. Maxim also urged the students to study the problem because in recent years, UNHCR is organizing a summer camp at one of the most prestigious recreational bases, Vadul-lui-Voda, for the students with most knowledge in the domain „and if you will persevere in this field, certainly in the near future, you will be part of this team.”

All 20 photos that make up the exhibition, will be shown the entire year in other educational institutions and administrative or socio-cultural places from Moldova.

The opening was preceded by a meeting of the University administration, moderated by Rector Mr.Andrei Popa, PhD hab., with Ms. Svetlana Jioară UNHCR programs associated during which the intention to develop cooperation and partnerships with the UNHCR Representation in Moldova was set. Among others Mr. Popa said „that the University administration is open to well-planned collaboration with strict adherence to commitments made ​​by the parties: you have all the support and respect in UNHCR's intention to organize public lectures. The only thing is that with the start of the new school year we have to establish concrete humanitarian disciplines, their time and duration so that students will take interest in the discussed topic and engage directly in topic of the discipline as a extra-curricular activity - Mr. Popa said.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Vitalie Ponomariov, Head of Department for European Integration and Academinc Mobility, coordinator of the European Union Information Centre; Sergiu Cornea, vice-rector of Scientific and International Relations; Oleg Danilciac, vice-rector of extra-curricular activities; Igor Shevcenko, dean of Law and Public Administration and Victor Axenti, dean of the Faculty of Philology and History.
