On their day, refugee children were in excursion to the ZOO

To celebrate International Children Day NGO Charity Center for Refugees (CCR) together with the Bureau of Migration and Asylum (BMA) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, organized a trip to the Zoo in the capital, from among all interested refugees and asylum seekers from Moldova
The trip has become a fun event for all the about 30 refugee children with their parents or older friends.
According to Mr. Ahmad Djavid Paknehad, president of CCR, children from refugee families, although not at the first trip of this kind, remained with pleasant impressions and anxious to come back among the crowd of animals and birds from here. Because we were here in lunch hours, children were served with sweets and refreshments drinks provided by CCR volunteers with financial support of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Moldova, added Paknehad.
Little Maria, four years and Rahelia, seven years liked the ZOO, but especially they liked the bear: “He is big and fluffy …” and “…but he is also good as a grandfather...” noticed the girls. Iandiev brothers, Anzor, Atlan and Abdul, all three with age up to 9 years, were the most active children in the group. “Not for the first time here, but each time I visit the ZOO I found it much more attractive and full of life”, said Abdul, the elder brother.
Mention that the entry was free for all refugees and asylum seekers, the event was possible due to the good cooperation between Accommodation Center for Refugees, Bureau Migration and Asylum with the Department of the ZOO from Chisinau.
