Servicii de asistenţă pentru femeile refugiate (rom. eng.)

Pe data de 4 aprilie 2011, în incinta asociației obşteşti Salvați Copiii Moldova, au fost distribuite materiale sanitare femeilor și fetelor de vîrstă reproductivă din rîndul solicitanților de azil, refugiaților și persoanelor cu protecție umanitara.

Dna Veronica Dragan, asistentul social în cadrul organizaţiei, ne-a comunicat că aceste ajutoare umanitare sunt oferite datorită sprijinului Reprezentanţei ICNUR în Moldova, şi sunt distribuite o dată la două luni, iar numărul beneficiarilor variază între 40 şi 45 de persoane. “Avem grijă să Ie anunţăm din timp pe reprezentantele acestei categorii de persoane vulnerabile - deţinătoare ale statutului de refugiat, solicitante de azil și persoane cu potecție umanitară - care de fiecare dată se bucură şi rămîn mulţumite de sprijinul nostru” – a mai adăugat Dragan.

Şi dna Ramilea Avakian, refugiată din Azerbaijan, este mulțumită de ajutoarele care i se oferă în aceste momente grele. “De fiecare dată cînd sunt anunţată că la Salvaţi Copiii se distribuie ajutoare umanitare vin cu plăcere pentru că şi personalul este foarte atent cu noi. În situaţia mea orice ajutor e binevenit pentru că asta înseamnă şi o economie enormă în bugetul familiei – zice Ramilea. Pe lîngă materialele sanitare, periodic ni se oferă şi produse alimentare, dar şi de uz casnic – detergenţi, săpun, şampon etc., chiar dacă sunt în cantităţi mai mici, în comparaţie cu anii precedenţi” – constată, oricum mulţumită, refugiata.

Kneazean Manuș s-a refugiat în Moldova din Armenia şi a ţinut să vină neapărat să-şi ia pungile cu cele necesare. “Nu suntem uitaţi - mereu ni se acordă ceva ajutoare, dar cînd e cazul, ne dau şi medicamente; şi copilaşii noştri se bucură la fiecare început de an de ghiozdanele noi şi pline cu rechizite școlare, cărţi, caiete, iar cei mai mici primesc, cu diferite ocazii jucării, bomboane, şi-i văd cum li se umple inima de bucurie. Eu cresc trei fete şi ştiu că ele sunt foarte mulţumite de aceste ajutoare. Cu unele greutăţi cea mai mare a susținut şi bacalaureatul, dar în acea perioadă foarte mult a contat chiar şi sprijinul moral pe care l-a primim de la echipa de aici” – se mîndreşte Manuș.

Salvaţi copiii Moldova este unul din partenerii de implementare a proiectelor finanţate de Reprezentanţa Înaltului Comisariat al ONU pentru Refugiaţi în Moldova şi are drept benediciari, ai diverselor activităţi cu caracter umanitar, atît copiii din aceste familii vulnerabile, cît şi maturii. Între altele, oferă servicii de asistenţă medicală specializată, spitalizare şi investigaţii; medicamente, materiale igienice pentru femei şi fete, imunizare inclusiv vaccinare. Aceste activităţi asigură sănătatea persoanelor date, iar pentru integrarea în comunitatea locală sunt organizate excursii, spectacole, concerte etc.

Support services for refugee women

On April 4, 2011, within the public association Save the Children Moldova, medical supplies were distributed to women and girls of reproductive age among asylum seekers, refugees and persons with humanitarian protection.

Ms. Veronica Dragan, the social worker within the organization, informed us that the humanitarian aid is provided through UNHCR Representation in Moldova support, and are distributed every two months and the number of recipients is between 40 and 45 people. "We take care to announce in due time the representatives of this category of vulnerable persons – holders of refugee status, asylum seekers and people with humanitarian protection – that every time enjoy and remain satisfied with our help" – Dragan added.

And Ms Ramilea Avakian, refugee from Azerbaijan, is pleased to get aid in these difficult times. "Every time we are told that at the Save the Children organization will be distributed humanitarian aid I come with pleasure because even the staff is very attentive with us. In my situation, any help is welcome because it means an enormous saving in the family budget – Ramilea said. In addition to sanitary materials, we regularly receive food and household – detergent, soap, shampoo, etc.., even if in smaller quantities, compared with previous years " – notes, however the refugee was pleased anyway.

Kneazean Manus fled to Moldova from Armenia and he came to take the bags with all the necessary. "We are not forgotten – we always receive some help,  when it is necessary they also give us drugs; and our children enjoy at the beginning of each new year of school bags filled with school supplies, books, notebooks, and the little ones receive on different occasions  toys and candy, and I see how their heart is filled with joy. I am raising three girls and I know they are very happy with this aid. With some difficulty, the highest supported baccalaureate exam, at that time was very important even the moral support received from this team " – is proud Manus.

Save the Children Moldova is one of the implementing partners of projects funded by the Representative of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Moldova and has beneficiaries of various humanitarian activities, so children in these vulnerable families, as well as adults. Among other things, provides specialized medical services, hospitalization and investigations,drugs, sanitary materials for women and girls, immunization, including vaccination. 

These activities ensure health of respective people and to integrate them into the local community are organized tours, shows, concerts.
